This week I was accepted into the 2014 honours program at ACSA.
I've been wanting to go on to post-graduate study in Visual Arts and Design for a while now, and immediately fell in love with the school at an open day last year. ACSA has such a brilliant repuation, widely recognized for it's intensive training and producing some of the finest artists (especially painters) around. Looking forward to this next chapter!
I will be showing new work at the Helpmann Academy Exhibition space at Womadelaide this year.
Womadelaide is a 4-day music festival running from March 7 to 10 in Adelaide's Botanic Park.

As part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Cold Krush Presents : Prism. I'll be celebrating along with an awesome line up by exhibiting a piece for this show.
Opening night : 6-9pm Friday 21st February

From the right angle, my open door lines up with edge of Kerri's cubicle really nicely, giving the impression the giant character's arm is popping out at you.

I was just sent this photo of one of my younger followers, little Una is just 3 and a half and lives in Sydney, Australia.
This week I'm pretty flattered to have Deidre paint my portrait from a sitting at her studio a while back.
This piece is 'A study for Leshii' 17.8 x 12.7cm and oil on panel.
Her new body of work explores folk-lore like creatures with their own contemporary urban mythology.

Over the holidays I painted this piece for Lisa King's curated show Common Ground.
This was a really nice piece to work on in between jobs.
Lisa left artists open to express whatever their hearts desired, as long as it was 50cm X 50cm.
Oil on canvas; this piece is currently up at Sugar on Rundle St, Adelaide.
Excited to be involved in Lisa King's upcoming group exhibition Common Ground.
Lisa curated the show gathering the likes of Driller Jet Armstrong, Matt Stuckey, Joel VDK...
...Jake Bresanello, Gary Seaman, Kate Kowald and Lisa herself too.

Door at Adelaide Central Markets is finito ladies! Really happy with it too.

This month has kicked off with some new work at the Adelaide Central Markets.
I'm doing some painting on site with fellow artists Delana Carbone and Kerri Ann Wright.

Started a new body of work this month.
This piece "Blending in" was featured in the St Ignatius Art Show as part of the 2013 SALA Festival.

Here's a nice little recap of this year's Krush Klinic art battle up at Longview Vineyard.
"Over 1,600 people came out for the 3rd year of Longview's Krush Klinic to witness the creation of the 2010 "The Piece" Shiraz label. Street artists Peque, Phibs, Stoops, Tiff and Chris did battle while DJ's Troy J Been and James Curd kept the tunes bumping. Hill Country BBQ was served up for the first time, Longview wines flowed and Prole Creations captured it all in super dope style. Enjoy and we'll see you up here for Krush Klinic 2014, if not before....peace!"
