The latest issue of The Adelaide* Magazine (03/2011) comes with an advertising feature guide by Visit Victoria called the Melbourne Autumn Collection. The magazine features coming attractions and events taking place next season in Melbourne as well as exhibiting a mural painted by Chris Dallwitz and myself on MoVida Next Door at Hosier lane, as the front cover! This wall painting just keeps on resurfacing!

Fringe Festival : Work

This week I've been doing some freelance work at the Garden of Unearthly Delights. I was behind the scenes of The Garden of Unearthly Delights, joining the "Gardeners" with setting up and constructing aspects of the event.

We were specifically there to paint from their design sketch of one of the venues called "La Cupola"

Also did some other smaller scale painting; on the retro popcorn and candy floss machines.

30 Degrees : Opening Night

Some pictures from the second show of 30 Degrees; the 2010 Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design graduating students exhibition. I displayed a series of paintings along with a collection of soft sculptures.

Virgin Blue Voyeur Inflight Magazine #111

Virgin Blue inflight magazine features one of my collaborative murals this issue. The article Taking it to the Streets features a double page spread of the mural I painted with my partner in Winter of 2008. It's painted on the side wall of restaurant MoVida Next Door and at the entrance of Hosier Lane. This wall painting continues to get boundless attention and publicity being a part of the of renowned tourist hot spot, Hosier Lane.

 


 

Verde : Website

The Cibo Galleria website lists the four seasonal exhibitions in South Australia; Giallo, Arancio, Nero and Verde. The website documents all the artists involved, with sections on each indiviual artist including their artist statements, images and detailed decriptions of works. Neat site!

Verde : Spring Art Show

...is excited to be a part of Verde this Spring!

Running from the 10th of October to the end of December, Verde will feature more than 100 artists in 10 Cibo Espresso Bars across South Australia, from 16 talented artists. My work is showing at North Adelaide's Cibo on Melbourne Street.

SA LIFE : Magazine

One of my paintings called Topless is featured in this months issue of SA Life magazine. The article is called A change of pace; on the design of "The Wave House"; a modern Adelaide home. Topless was purchased from the annual event Helpmann Academy Maestro and Apprentices in 2008. Nice to see it in it's new dwelling!
